Who Made Your Pieces

We recently started a small production studio in Jakarta, Indonesia — our second home in 2023.

This is where we make each piece in small batches with a small team. Meet Yuli, one of our talented tailors. She discovered her love for tailoring as a hobby, learning the craft from her aunt so she could make her own dresses. 

“I love making dresses,” Yuli says. “It brings me joy when something I’ve made makes someone happy and confident.”

In addition to our small studio, we collaborate with independent tailors across Java and Bali. Meet Willy, he runs a small family business near our home, where he and his family craft each piece in their own studio.

By partnering with independent tailors and producing in-house, instead of working with factories, we ensure that profits go directly to the creators of the dresses.
